📌Complete Guide to TEXTOM Keyword Refinement!🔎

Even after the preprocessing stage, you might find unnecessary keywords that require further modification or deletion. This guide will explain how to refine keywords according to the newly updated version.

1.Edit Keywords Directly

The first method is using the 'Direct Edit' feature within the TEXTOM service, which allows you to modify or delete keywords. You can find this feature in the [Refine] - Refine List section. Click the 'Edit' button under Direct Edit.

✔️Change and remove words by entering them directly

You can check the original text refining data and TF·N-gram values to see if the keywords are suitable for research purposes. Keywords can also be changed and remove directly through Word substitution-change and remove functions.

①In word substitution, Select word change or remove
②Please enter the words you want to change, modify, or remove.
③Click the right arrow button to add it to modification details.

2.Direct Refinement by Creating a Refinement File

The second method involves uploading a refinement file to modify keywords manually. First, download the original and refined data files by clicking the 'Download' button.

Within the downloaded file, use the 'Find and Replace' feature to modify keywords in the Refined Data (Column I).
(Original Data includes: Number, Title, Content, Channel, Subchannel, Start Date, End Date, URL)

Open the Find and Replace (Ctrl + F) dialog box.
Enter the word you want to change in Find what, and the new word in Replace with. Then click 'Replace All'.
After completing all modifications, save the file. (Supported file formats for upload: xlsx, xls, csv)

Upload the completed file using the 'Refinement Upload' button. When you upload the refinement file, a new version of the refinement history will be created.
